RCMP in Yorkton are investigating a crash that resulted in the death of a pedestrian on Saturday. On Nov. 15, at around 5:40 p.m., officers from the Yorkton RCMP detachment responded to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian on Mayhew Avenue. The pedestrian, an 86-year-old man, was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His family has been notified, according to RCMP. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash. Police continue to investigate the incident with the help of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
