A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING AN ABRUPT RETURN TO WINTER ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN BEGINNING EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. HAZARDS: 15 TO 25 CM OF SNOW, POSSIBLY REACHING 30 TO 40 CM LOCALLY FROM MEADOW LAKE SOUTHEASTWARD TOWARDS YORKTON. POOR VISIBILITIES IN FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW. FREEZING RAIN WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE MAINLY NEAR AND SOUTH OF THE TRANS-CANADA HIGHWAY SOUTHWARD TO THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER. TIMING: BEGINNING EARLY TUESDAY MORNING AND TAPERING OFF LATE IN THE DAY WEDNESDAY. POOR TRAVEL CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY ACROSS THE PROVINCE. IN ADDITION, A RETURN TO WINTER-LIKE TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE PROVINCE IN THE WAKE OF THIS SYSTEM.
