Police are investigating after a man was shot and wounded inside a home in Regina’s North Central Neighbourhood. According to the Regina Police Service (RPS), at around 7:15 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to the 900 block of Retallack Street for a reported firearms offence. The caller told officers someone had shot at a house in the area. Police eventually found the victim inside a home on the 300 block of Smith Street. The 29-year-old was taken to hospital by EMS with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries stemming from a gunshot wound. The investigation is ongoing. RPS encourages anyone who may have information that could assist investigators to reach out to police or Regina Crime Stoppers.
