A death investigation is underway after a body was discovered on College Avenue in the early morning hours of Oct. 13. According to the Regina Police Service (RPS), officers were called to the 100 block of College Avenue at around 4:30 a.m. Monday. Soon after their arrival, police discovered the body of a man. The area was secured and officers from both the major crimes and forensic identification units responded. The investigation is being run in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. No further details were provided by RPS — citing the early stages of the investigation. Anyone with information that would aid investigators is encouraged to contact RPS or submit a tip to Regina Crime Stoppers.
