A pair of suspects are facing over 80 charges following an alleged spree of break-ins near Swift Current. The break-ins occurred between June 1 and June 26 in the Swift Current Rural detachment area, according to a release from the Saskatchewan RCMP on Wednesday. A 28-year-old from Nekaneet First Nation and a 20-year-old from Swift Current are each facing 41 charges, for a total of 82. Among the charges are 13 counts of breaking and entering with intent, five counts of theft of a motor vehicle, three counts of theft under $5,000, eight counts of theft over $5,000, five counts of breaking and entering, and seven counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. The pair appeared in Swift Current Provincial Court on Wednesday. RCMP say the investigation is considered ongoing.
